SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) -- Alicia Ratay scored 21 points and Kelley Siemon added 16 to lead third-ranked Notre Dame to an 84-54 victory over Western Michigan. Ratay had seven points in an 11-0 first-half run that pushed Notre Dame's advantage to 37-21. She capped the spurt with a 3-pointer with 3:50 left. Ruth Riley had 15 points and Ericka Haney chipped in with 10 for the Fighting Irish (9-0), who improved to 6-0 all-time against Western Michigan. Karen Deurloo and Sarah Hurrle had 15 points apiece as the Broncos (1-5), who shot a season-low 29 percent (18-for-61) from the field and had their their losing streak pushed to four games. Imani Dunbar gave Notre Dame its largest lead of the game, 80-44, with a layup with 8:41 left. The Fighting Irish have not lost since a 69-65 setback to Texas Tech in the NCAA Tournament Mideast Regional semifinal. Niele Ivey had 10 assists, eight points, five rebounds, and three steals for Notre Dame, which shot 54 percent (37-for-68) and held a 43-37 edge in rebounding. Deurloo led Western Michigan in rebounding with nine boards and Kristin Koetsier contributed 10 points and seven rebounds.
