PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Chantelle Anderson scored 40 points on 19-of-20 shooting to lead Vanderbilt (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) to a 97-56 victory over Portland State on Saturday night. Vanderbilt (8-2) hit its first 10 shots and set a school record by shooting 70 percent from the field. Portland State (1-10) shot only 33 percent. The Commodores led by 19 points at halftime and allowed just three points in the first eight minutes of the second half. At one point, Vanderbilt led by 45 points. Krishelle Jessee led the Vikings with 14 points and Shannon Thorne scored 13 points. Jenni Benningfield had 14 points and Zuzana Klimesova and Jillian Danker had 12 apiece for Vanderbilt.
