AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Freshman Iveta Marcauskaite had a career-high 24 points and nine rebounds and Illinois beat No. 14 Auburn 73-56 Saturday, snapping the Tigers' 55-game home winning streak over non-conference opponents. Allison Curtin added 10 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for the Illini (5-7), while Anne O'Neil had 11 points. Tasha Hamilton led Auburn (12-2) with 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, while Carol Smith added 14 points and Lori Nero had 11 points and six rebounds. Illinois, which led 32-31 at halftime, held the lead for all but seven minutes of the game. Auburn was ahead 9-5 when the Illini went on an 8-0 run and took the lead for good. The Tigers shot just 25.8 percent in the first half while committing 13 turnovers.
