(AP) -- Jackie Stiles scored 20 points as Southwest Missouri State (No. 15 ESPN/USA Today, No. 16 AP) beat Creighton 84-59 on Saturday in the Missouri Valley Conference opener for both teams. Stiles, the nation's leading scorer last season, scored in double figures for the 66th consecutive game, and needs 34 points to become the leading scorer in Missouri Valley history. Carly Deer added 11 points, and Tara Mitchem had 10 points for Southwest Missouri State (7-2). Angela Timmons led Creighton (6-4) with 15 points.
