Schweitzer sets 3-point record for No. 5 Duke RECAP | BOX SCORE

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Georgia Schweitzer didn't even know it when
she set Duke's record for career 3-pointers.
Iciss Tillis scored 16 points and Schweitzer added as No. 5 Duke
beat Wake Forest 81-56 on Tuesday night.
"I knew I was close to the record, but I missed the
announcement when it happened," Schweitzer said. "We were getting
yelled at during a timeout."
Schweitzer hit three 3-pointers to give her 161 on her career,
breaking Jen Scanlon's record of 159. Schweitzer broke the record
1:21 into the second half, starting a 10-0 Duke run that gave the
Blue Devils a 49-26 lead.
Sheanna Mosch had 11 points for Duke (13-1, 1-1 ACC), while
Rometra Craig and Alana Beard each added 10.
"I'm happy to get our first ACC win," Duke coach Gail
Goestenkors said. "I'm not very happy with the way we won. We lost
our focus and had a very large letdown from our game against Iowa
State."
Eafton Hill led Wake Forest (7-5, 0-2) with 12 points.
Duke took advantage of 23 Wake Forest turnovers in the first
half and took a 39-20 lead by halftime.
The Blue Devils' smothering defense held Wake Forest without a
field goal for 10:02 midway through the first half.
"They just put tremendous pressure on the ball," Wake Forest
coach Charlene Curtis said. "We played pretty well on defense, but
their pressure creates a lot of easy baskets and free throws for
them. They really attack the basket when they get the ball."
