CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- Nicole Levandusky scored 29 points, one
shy of her career high, to lead three players in double figures
as No. 20 Xavier easily defeated Atlantic 10 Conference rival
Fordham, 84-66. Retta Piipari scored 14 points and Jennifer Phillips added 13 for Xavier, which hit its first 12 shots from the field and raced to a 29-6 lead en route to its fourth win in a row. Piipari registered her fourth double-double of the season, recording 13 assists. She has 110 for the season to lead the conference. The Lady Musketeers (10-1, 1-0 Atlantic 10) shot 55 percent (32-of-58) from the field and never trailed. Maureen Garvey scored 15 points and Lauren Fleisher added 11 for the Lady Rams (3-9, 0-1), who shot just 22 percent (4-of-18) from 3-point range and suffered their fourth straight loss.
