Longhorns stymied in second half

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- Amanda Lassiter and Evan Unrau each recorded a double-double and led Missouri to a 68-52 win over No. 12 Texas on Saturday.

Lassiter had 22 points and 10 rebounds as Missouri rallied from a 32-24 halftime deficit by limiting Texas to 27 percent shooting after the break.

The Longhorns (13-3, 1-1 Big 12 Conference), who shot just 33 percent for the game, did not score in the final three minutes. They were 0-for-4 from 3-point range and 4-for-9 from the line.

Unrau, who finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds, broke a 46-46 tie with a layup with 8:41 left, initiating an 8-0 run that gave Missouri a 54-46 lead with 6:59 remaining.

Lassiter scored six points in the run, which followed a 12-2 outburst by the Tigers (10-3, 1-1) at the start of the second half.

Tai Dillard led Texas with 24 points, and Stacy Stephens added 16 points and 16 rebounds.
