Butler scores 22, Krupa 20 to lift Georgia RECAP | BOX SCORE

ATLANTA (SportsTicker) -- Niesha Butler scored 22 points and Jaime
Krupa added 20, leading Georgia Tech to a 70-65 upset of
25th-ranked Virginia in an Atlantic Coast Conference game.
Alex Stewart chipped in with 13 points and 11 rebounds for
Georgia Tech (10-4, 2-2 ACC), which outscored the Cavaliers
31-26 in the second half.
The Yellow Jackets used a stifling defensive performance,
holding Virginia to 28 percent shooting (9-for-32) in the second
half and 37 percent (23-for-62) overall.
Georgia Tech shot 41 percent (23-for-56) and held a 40-35
rebounding advantage.
Schuye LaRue scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace
the Cavaliers (11-5, 3-1), who had a three-game winning streak
stopped. Svetlana Volnaya added 14 points, Marcie Dickson 12 and
Telisha Quarles 10 for Virginia.
