NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans tight end Frank Wycheck will try a new knee brace, and might play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Wycheck, whose lateral to Kevin Dyson on a kickoff last Saturday was the winning touchdown in the Titans' AFC wild-card victory over the Buffalo Bills, strained a ligament in his left knee during the game.

Wycheck and Dyson were named the NFL's Players of the Week in the special teams category on Wednesday.

Wycheck practiced Wednesday and coach Jeff Fisher said the tight end was still experiencing some pain, and a new brace will be tried Thursday.

"Things are looking up. We'll know more about Frank tomorrow, but I'm optimistic about Frank being able to play this weekend," Fisher said.

Steve McNair also practiced Wednesday after taking a break due to flu-like symptoms Tuesday.
