EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) --Tommy Salo and the Edmonton Oilers are making themselves right at home. Salo stopped Mike Sillinger on a penalty shot in the second period as Edmonton beat Tampa Bay 5-1 on Friday night, extending the Lightning's winless streak to 10 games.
The Oilers are 5-0-3 in their last eight home games and 10-3-7 overall at Skyreach Centre. They have six games remaining on an eight-game homestand. "We've established something here," Smyth said.
