MONTREAL (AP) -- Brian Rolston scored the game-winner in the third period as the Boston Bruins beat Montreal 5-3 Saturday night, snapping the Canadiens' three-game winning streak.
Rolston, playing his third game since being acquired Monday in the trade that sent Ray Bourque to Colorado, redirected Darren Van Impe's pass from behind the Canadiens' net past Jose Theodore for a power-play goal 2:13 into the third, breaking a 3-3 tie.

It was the second straight game that Rolston tallied a goal.
Joe Thornton added his 19th into an empty net in the final minute.
Cameron Mann, Shawn Bates and Antti Laaksonen also scored for the Bruins, who have two wins and a regulation tie in three games since trading Bourque.
Craig Darby, Martin Rucinsky and Shedon Souray scored for the Canadiens, who lost for just the fourth time in 16 games.
Montreal appeared to have tied the game 4-4, but Sergei Zholtok's goal with 3:45 left was disallowed. Referee Terry Gregson penalized Montreal's Shayne Corson for interfering with goalie Rob Tallas.
Since falling to 12-24-5-1 on Jan. 7, the Canadiens have 40 points in 30 games (18-8-2-2) to climb back into the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.
Montreal's Dainius Zubrus had two assists, returning to the lineup after missing six games with a concussion.
The Canadiens lost team captain Saku Koivu, who left the game with a knee injury in the second period.
