BOSTON (AP) -- The Nashville Predators didn't want a repeat of last season's game in Boston. "We felt there was two games last year that we didn't show up to play, and one of them was against the Bruins in Boston," Predators captain Tom Fitzgerald said. "Tonight, we were determined that wasn't going to happen again." Mike Dunham made 38 saves and Sergei Krivokrasov and Sebastien Bordeleau scored third-period goals to lift Nashville to a 3-1 victory over Boston. "It was a quality win against a very good team," Dunham said. "This is the kind of win a team can build on." Krivokrasov scored the game-winning goal, his first of the season and seventh with the Predators, with five minutes left in the third period on a shot from high in the slot. The victory broke a seven-game winless streak for Nashville, which beat Boston for the first time in four career meetings. "We've beaten a lot of good teams this season, but lately we haven't gotten the bounces," Fitzgerald said. "Tonight, we got the bounces." Dunham, who made his fifth consecutive start, has 59 saves in his last two games. "I felt good the entire game, but really got into a rhythm in the second and third periods," Dunham said. Bordeleau capped the Predators' scoring with an empty-netter at 19:10 of the third period. It was his second goal of the season. Byron Dafoe made 16 saves for the Bruins, who lost for the fifth time in eight games (2-5-1). "I think the losses are starting to take away some of our confidence," Bruins coach Pat Burns said. Jason Allison, playing his 300th NHL game, scored his fifth goal of the season on a rebound of Kyle McLaren's shot to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead 22 seconds into the game. "We need the whole team to show up every night if we are going to get back on the right track," Allison said. "I don't think every player on our team can look themselves in the mirror and say they are giving 100 percent every night and the results of that are showing up in our wins and losses." The Predators tied it 1-1 when Cliff Ronning scored from the
left faceoff circle at 1:57. Ronning has six points -- three goals
and three assists -- in his last seven games.
