CHICAGO (AP) _ Defenseman Bryan McCabe scored two goals as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 in an exhibition game Friday night. McCabe broke a tie at 9:09 of the third period, beating goalie Roman Turek with a low shot off a pass from Michal Grosek. The Blackhawks (1-3-0) scored only once in their previous three exhibition games. Pavol Demitra scored for St. Louis (1-2-1). Jocelyn Thibault made 18 saves for the Blackhawks.
