Arnott set to return for Devils

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Jason Arnott, the first-line center for the defending Stanley Cup champion Devils, is expected to return to action on Thursday when New Jersey hosts Toronto in Game 1 of their conference semifinal series.

Arnott had an MRI on his injured left knee Monday and he was declared fit to play after missing Sunday's 5-1 first-round series-clinching victory over Carolina in Game 6.

Arnott had one goal and one assist in the first-round series against the Hurricanes before getting hurt. Arnott had 55 points in 54 games during the regular season.
