Atlanta Thrashers: Undisclosed terms have been reached with unrestricted free agent forwards Randy Robitaille and Eric Healey, the team said. Robitaille, 27, split last season between the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders, tallying six goals and 14 assists in 51 NHL games. He had five goals and 12 assists in 41 games with the Penguins and one goal and two assists in 10 games with the Islanders. Robitaille also had a goal and an assist in five playoff games for the Islanders last season. Healey, 28, led the American Hockey League in goals (42) and finished 11th in the AHL with 73 points in 75 games last season. New York Rangers and San Jose Sharks: The Rangers acquired center Chad Wiseman in exchange for left wing Nils Ekman. Wiseman played in four games with the Sharks last season and did not score. He spent most of the season with Cleveland of the AHL where he had 17 goals and 35 assists in 77 games. He was San Jose's eighth choice, 246th overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Ekman spent last season with the Rangers' AHL affiliate in Hartford, scoring 39 goals and 36 assists in 57 games. He was Calgary's sixth choice, 107th overall in the 1994 Entry Draft. He played 71 games with Tampa Bay from 1999-2001 getting 11 goals and 13 assists.
Fibiger played in 16 games with the Sharks last season without a goal. He spent most of the season with San Jose's top affiliate in Cleveland, where he had three goals and 11 assists in 59 games.
Mulick played 24 games with Cleveland last season, recording 24 penalty minutes. Florida Panthers: Right wing Ivan Novoseltsev and left wing Ryan Jardine signed one-year contracts.
Novoseltsev scored 10 goals and had a career-high 17 assists in 78 games with the Panthers last season. Jardine had 14 goals and 17 assists in 64 games last season with Florida's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. Both were restricted free agents.
The Panthers also signed free agent goalie Travis Scott, who played in the Los Angeles Kings' organization the past two seasons. Centers Janis Sprukts and Greg Jacina signed minor-league contracts.
