DENVER (AP) -- Scott Vermillion scored in the 55th minute and David Kramer made three saves for his second shutout of the season as the Colorado Rapids beat the Dallas Burn 1-0 on Wednesday night.
Vermillion scored his second goal of the season on a diving
header off a pass from Andres Limpar.
Dallas had a chance to score in the 95th minute, but Kramer made
a sliding save on Paul Broome's close-range shot.
Burn goalkeeper Matt Jordan made seven saves.
Colorado improved to 8-9-1, and Dallas dropped to 6-10-3.
