KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Wolde Harris scored with five minutes
left, leading New England over Kansas City 1-0 Wednesday night in
Major League Soccer. Revolution goalkeeper Juergen Sommer, who missed the 1999 season
with a knee injury, made three saves and recorded his first shutout
since September 1998. Harris' goal came in the 85th minute on an assist by Paul
Keegan. Wizards' goalkeeper Tony Meola blocked the shot, but Harris
was able to score off the rebound for his ninth of the season. New England (8-9-5) snapped a four-game losing streak and handed
the Wizards (11-5-5) their third straight loss. Kansas City was without forwards Miklos Molnar, Alex Bunbury,
and Gary Glasgow.
