KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Andy Williams scored in the 79th minute
Friday as the Miami Fusion beat the Kansas City Wizards 2-1 in
Major League Soccer to boost their playoff hopes.
Roy Lassiter and Martin Machon assisted on the winning goal as
Miami (10-12-5) won for the first time in three games at Kansas
City and got just its third road victory of the year.
The Fusion are among four teams fighting for a playoff spot.
Francisco Gomez had scored in the 33rd minute for the Wizards
(14-7-6), off assists from Preki Radosavljevic and Kerry Zavagnin.
Lassiter tied it with a penalty kick in the 67th.
