DALLAS (AP) -- Bobby Rhine scored a goal and had two assists as
the Dallas Burn beat the D.C. United 3-0 Saturday for United's
franchise-record fifth straight loss.
Dallas (5-5-1) got first-half goals from Ryan Suarez and Rhine
to jump out to an early lead.
Suarez scored the game's first goal and his first of the season
in the 18th minute on a pass from Rhine. Suarez hammered the shot
from about five yards away into the left side of the goal. Jason
Kreis also assisted.
Rhine came back to score his goal with a header into the center
of the goal to make the score 2-0. Ariel Graziani and Jorge
Rodriguez assisted on Rhine's fourth goal of the season.
Antonio Martinez scored on a breakaway goal for Dallas' final
goal.
United are now 3-7 for the season.
