DALLAS (AP) -- Jason Kreis had a goal and an assist, helping the Dallas Burn pick up their first win in more than a month, beating the Tampa Bay Mutiny 3-0 Wednesday night.
Dallas' Oscar Pareja made a short pass off an indirect free kick
to Kreis, who scored from eight yards for Dallas' first goal in the
36th minute. Kreis' shot hit the crossbar and bounced into the back
of the net for his fifth goal of the season.
Dallas (7-7-4) scored its second goal when Ariel Graziani rebounded a missed shot by Pareja in the 49th minute for his sixth goal of the season.
Jorge Rodriguez scored on a penalty kick in the 54th minute.
The shutout was the seventh of the year for Matt Jordan, best in the MLS. Tampa Bay fell to a league-worst 3-15-1.
