FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) _ Preki had a goal and two assists as the
Miami Fusion beat the New England Revolution 4-1 on Saturday night.
Alex Pineda Chacon, Chris Henderson and Diego Serna also scored
to help the Fusion (13-4-5) end a three-game winless streak. Matt
Okoh scored for the Revolution (6-12-5).
Okoh opened the scoring in the sixth minute, but Miami countered
with three first-half goals.
Chacon tied it in the 16th minute. Preki made it 2-1 in the 27th
minute, and Henderson scored in the 35th minute. Serna scored his
league-leading 14th goal off a pass from Preki in the 68th minute.
Miami coach Ray Hudson was in stable condition after being
admitted to a hospital after complaining of chest pains, dizziness
and feeling disoriented.
Hudson, 46, was taken to Caritas Norwood Hospital, about 10
minutes away from Foxboro Stadium. Hudson left the Fusion bench
about 10 minutes into the second half with Miami ahead 3-1.
Carolyn Lawless, a nursing supervisor at the hospital, said
Hudson was being monitored on a floor unit and that he would be
spend the night.
Lawless said Hudson underwent an electrocardiogram and enzyme
studies _ blood tests to detect enzymes that would be present if
any heart damage had occurred.
She said there was no indication that Hudson had suffered a
heart attack, but that he would undergo additional enzyme studies
Sunday morning.
"Mr. Hudson is awake, he is alert and he's in good sprits,"
Lawless said.
