CLEVELAND -- Eva Nemcova drilled a 3-pointer with 15 seconds remaining in overtime to snap a tie and lift the Cleveland Rockers to a 83-79 victory over the Orlando Miracle on Wednesday. Nemcova's 3-pointer gave Cleveland an 82-79 lead and came during a game-ending 6-0 run that enabled the second-year Rockers (3-1) to defeat Orlando for the first time. Cleveland was 0-4 against the Miracle last season. "I had the ball, had only two seconds to shoot, so I took the shot and I made it," said Nemcova of her game-winner. After Nykesha Sales missed a 3-pointer for Orlando, rookie Helen Darling hit one of two shots from the line with six seconds to play to clinch the victory. Nemcova scored 23 points and Chastity Melvin added 22 for the Rockers, who erased a 58-50 deficit in the final 12 minutes of regulation to stretch their winning streak to three games. Sales scored 24 points and Taj McWilliams contributed 16 for Orlando (3-2), which had a a three-game winning streak snapped. The Miracle had a chance to win late in regulation, but Adrienne Johnson missed a driving layup with 4.9 seconds left.
