Miami beats Detroit for 4th win in row |

MIAMI (AP) -- Sandy Brondello scored 14 points as the Miami Sol
beat the Detroit Shock 66-51 Saturday night, extending their
winning streak to four games.
Miami (10-9), which beat Detroit 56-55 Friday night, won the
season series 2-1.
The Sol built their lead to 20 points in the final minutes and
finished with their largest margin of victory this season.
Miami shot 62.5 percent in the second half and 51.9 percent in
the game. Detroit (5-13) shot 28.6 percent and finished with the
fewest points by a Sol opponent this season.
The Sol outscored the Shock 12-2 on fast-break points and scored
23 points off 19 Detroit turnovers.
Sheri Sam hit a 3-pointer with 12:29 left to give Miami a 41-25
lead. The Shock never got closer than eight points the rest of the
way.
Brondello hit a 19-foot jumper with 3.4 seconds left in the
first half to give Miami a 26-16 lead at the break.
The Sol scored 15 points off 11 Detroit turnovers in the first
half.
