Starzz's Goodson simply too good for Fever |

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Adrienne Goodson had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the Utah Starzz to a 61-57 victory over the Indiana Fever on Wednesday night.
Goodson also had a steal and layup with 24.4 seconds remaining that pushed the Starzz's lead to five points.
Jennifer Azzi added nine points for Utah (9-10).
Indiana's Jurgita Streimikyte had a double-double with 12 points and a career-high 11 rebounds before fouling out with 3:43 remaining.
Olympia Scott-Richardson scored 12 points, and Rita Williams
added 10 for the Fever (6-14).
Goodson and Amy Herrig each scored four points in a 12-3 run
over a 4:29 span late in the first half as Utah built a 32-24 lead.
Utah added a 9-2 run midway through the second half to take its
biggest lead, 49-39, with 9:50 to play.
Stephanie McCarty and Kelly Schumacher hit 3-point baskets as
the Fever closed within 58-55 with 36.5 seconds remaining.
After Utah was whistled for a backcourt violation, Indiana had a
chance to tie. However, Goodson stole the inbounds pass and drove
the length of the court for the clinching basket.
Utah shot 21-for-27 from the line. Indiana shot 10-for-14 from
the line.
Utah forward Natalie Williams, ranked second in the league in
rebounding, missed the game because of a left ankle strain.
