MARYVALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Jeromy Burnitz homered and knocked in five runs and Sean Berry hit a pair of homers, lifting the Milwaukee Brewers to a 9-5 Cactus League victory over a split squad of Oakland Athletics.

Burnitz belted a three-run homer in the first inning, delivered an RBI single two innings later and added a sacrifice fly in the sixth.

Berry went 3-for-3, including his first two homers of the spring in the third and fifth innings. Mark Loretta also added three hits for Milwaukee.

Milwaukee starter Jason Bere earned the win, allowing four runs and eight hits in five innings. He walked none and struck out five.

Oakland's Olmedo Saenz went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo homers. Athletics starter Gil Heredia was tagged for six runs and 10 hits in four innings.
