BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The game between the Oakland Athletics and Baltimore Orioles was postponed due to rain. A makeup date will be announced later this week.

The teams ended up splitting the abbreviated two-game series, with Baltimore winning on Friday night, 8-3, and the Athletics coming back to take Saturday night's contest, 4-0, when Tim Hudson and Jeff Tam combined on a two-hitter.

Oakland continues its eight-game road trip on Monday afternoon against the New York Yankees. Righthander Omar Olivares (3-5) will oppose lefthander Andy Pettitte (3-2) in the opener of the three-game series.

The Orioles begin a 10-game road trip on Monday at Tampa Bay with Pat Rapp (3-2) facing Steve Trachsel (3-4) in a battle of righthanders.
