PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Omar Daal moved within one loss of becoming the first 20-game loser in 20 years, allowing a two-run homer to Preston Wilson as the Florida Marlins beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 Saturday night.

Daal (3-19) lost his seventh straight start and is on the brink of being the majors' first 20-game loser since Oakland's Brian Kingman in 1980.

Although Daal has pitched well of late, allowing three runs or less in his last five starts. Daal allowed three runs and four hits in six innings, but the Phillies went 22 innings without scoring for him until Bobby Abreu led off the seventh with a homer.

Daal, who is 1-9 since being traded from Arizona to the Phillies in July, gave up Wilson's 27th homer in the first inning to fall behind 2-0. Wilson, who had three hits, added an RBI groundout in the sixth.

Brad Penny (6-7) gave up one run, four hits and no walks in seven innings. He had a season-high six strikeouts.

Dan Miceli pitched a scoreless eighth and Antonio Alfonseca finished for his 41st save in 45 chances despite balking in Marlon Anderson with two outs in the ninth.

The Marlins got all the runs they needed in the first inning. Alex Gonzalez hit a one-out double. After Cliff Floyd grounded out, Wilson homered into the left-field seats.

Florida added a run in the sixth inning. Luis Castillo led off with a single and moved to second on a balk by Daal. Gonzalez walked and two groundouts scored the third run.

The Phillies had their leadoff runner on in two of the first three innings and twice had runners on second but were unable to score.

Notes: The win broke a three-game losing streak for Florida. ... Penny is 2-0 against the Phillies and has allowed just four runs against them in 15 1-3 innings. ... Wilson's 27 homers are tied for the second most in club history. He matched Gary Sheffield, who had 27 in 1994. Sheffield also had 40 in 1996.
