Led the Rangers in games (139), at bats (589), runs (87), hits (174), stolen bases (50), and multi-hit games (50), was 3rd in batting (.295), and ranked 4th in walks (57) ... Established pro career highs for hits and doubles (21) and big league highs for average, games, at bats, runs, and RBI (45, 2nd best of pro career to 48 with Greensboro in 1980) ... Stole an Atlanta-record, career-high 72 bases (in 93 at-bats), second in the NL behind Marquis Grissom's 76 ... Traded to Atlanta from Montreal April 1 ... Tied Eddie Collins' 79-year-old major league record with six steals in one game on June 16 at Montreal ... Had a career-high 20-game hitting streak July 11-31 (31-for-78, .397) ... Had 22 bunt hits ... Had consecutive three-hit games July 13 and 14 against St. Louis ... Suspended Sept. 16 for drug violations, missing the entire postseason and the beginning of the 1992 season.

Stole 50 bases for Montreal, fifth in the NL ... Made just one error in 88 outfield games ... Had three games with three steals ... Hit only homer of the season Aug. 14 off Dennis Rasmussen of San Diego ... Was inserted at shortstop July 20 at Houston and started a double play in his only major league fielding chance at short ... Began the season at Class AAA Indianapolis before joining the Expos June 21 ... Tied for fourth in the NL with 46 steals in only 90 games ... Hit safely in 10 of 12 games Sept. 15-27 (13-for-41, .317).

Began the season with Cleveland and hit .059 in 19 games before being sent to AAA Buffalo for the rest of the year ... Batted .285 with Buffalo.

1986
Spent the entire season with Cleveland but received only 95 at-bats in 105 games, with many of his appearances coming as a pinch-runner ... Had 23 steals and 33 runs.

1985
Hit .235 in his first full season in the majors ...Had 20 steals and 34 runs in only 162 at-bats ... Had four three-hit games.

1984
Traded to Cleveland Feb. 5 and became the team's starting left fielder ... Hit only .154 (14-for-91) in 49 games and was optioned to AAA Maine on June 19 ... Stole 12 bases.

Recalled from AAA Columbus by the New York Yankees on Sept. 2 and made his major league debut Sept. 9 as a pinch-runner against Baltimore.
