LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Michael Finley recorded his fourth triple-double of the season with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists Tuesday night as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-102 for their fourth straight road victory.

Hubert Davis finished with 15 points, including three 3-pointers in a 2:05 span of the fourth quarter to break open a tie game, and Greg Buckner made five of six free throws in the final minute, helping send the Clippers to their eighth straight loss.

Dirk Nowitzki added 20 points for the Mavericks, who had 13 3-pointers in the game _ the ninth time this season they have made at least 10 from behind the arc. They also went 17-for-18 from the foul line.

Eric Piatkowski scored 28 points and second-year center Michael Olowokandi added a career-high 27 points for the Clippers, who have lost eight straight and 36 of their last 40. It was Olowokandi's fourth game with at least 20 points this season and his second in a row.

One night after beating the Midwest Division-leading Jazz at Utah for the first time in more than 11 years, the Mavericks blew a seven-point lead during a one-minute span of the fourth quarter against the NBA's worst team. The Clippers rallied to tie it at 87 on Olowokandi's two free throws, a dunk by Derek Anderson off an offensive rebound, and a 3-pointer by Piatkowski with 7:16 remaining.

But the Mavericks responded with a 3-pointer by Davis, two free throws by Nowitski and another trey by Davis.

The Clippers lost their sixth straight game against Dallas, missing leading scorer Maurice Taylor for the fourth straight game with a sprained left ankle and second-leading scorer Lamar Odom for the second straight game because of a strained left calf muscle.

Olowokandi paced the Clippers to a 55-51 halftime lead with 19 points. The Mavericks built a 32-25 advantage through one quarter with six 3-pointers _ two of them by the 6-foot-11 Nowitzki, who made four in the contest and needs only three more to become the seventh player in Mavericks history with at least 100 3-pointers in a season.

Notes: With 14 victories, the Clippers have to go 4-6 the rest of the way to avoid tying the mark for the second-fewest wins during a full season in franchise history. They had 17 in four of the previous 18 seasons, and just 12 in 1986-87 under Don Chaney. Their nine wins last season came during a lockout-shortened 50-game schedule. ... Los Angeles waived guard Troy Hudson and signed forward Etdrick Bohannon to a 10-day contract. ... The Mavericks are 5-11 in the second game of back-to-back sets _ but the second game has been on the road all 16 times. They finally get a chance to conclude a back-to-back set at home on April 14 against Seattle. ... The Clippers, who lost to the Mavericks on Feb. 5 in Jim Todd's first game after replacing Chris Ford as head coach, are 3-24 since the change.
