PHOENIX (AP) _ He's only a rookie, but Shawn Marion sure doesn't play like one. Marion scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Phoenix Suns beat the Philadelphia 76ers 95-83 Sunday night for their fourth straight preseason victory. Marion, the Suns' first-round draft pick out of UNLV, made nine of 17 shots from the field. Phoenix (4-2) led 25-14 after the first quarter as the 76ers (2-4) made just 33 percent of their shots from the floor. The Suns padded their lead to 49-42 at halftime and 75-61 after the third quarter behind Cliff Robinson's 11 points. Robinson and Rodney Rogers each finished with 15 points while Tom Gugliotta and Todd Day added 14 apiece. Jumaine Jones had 14 points and Larry Hughes 13 to pace the 76ers, who made just half of their 42 free throws in the game. Both teams played without a star guard with Phoenix's Jason Kidd nursing a left thigh bruise and Philadelphia's Allen Iverson out with a right ankle injury. The 76ers only dressed 10 players with Matt Geiger (left knee) and Tyrone Hill (fractured left thumb) unable to play. Billy Owens, Theo Ratliff and Rodrick Rhodes did not make the trip because of injuries.
