BOSTON (AP) _ Antoine Walker scored 23 points and Paul Pierce added 22 as the Boston Celtics beat the Orlando Magic 100-96 in the exhibition finale for both teams on Friday night.

Tracy McGrady led Orlando with 19 points and eight rebounds and Pat Garrity added 18. The Magic shot 2-for-16 from 3-point range in their only exhibition loss.

The teams were tied 49-49 at halftime. Boston opened the third quarter with a 14-2 run. Pierce had 11 points in the first two minutes of the quarter.

Orlando countered with a 10-2 run and the Magic closed to 67-65.

The Celtics outscored the Magic 12-5 for an 89-80 lead with eight minutes left.

Orlando got within four points with 1:51 remaining, but Walker scored five points in the final 90 seconds to seal the win.
