Finally, order is restored. The West's top two seeds, pushed to the brink of elimination, passed their Game 5 tests Friday to oust the Kings and Sonics. The Lakers will meet the Suns after drubbing Sacramento 113-86, while the Jazz edged Seattle 96-93.

end Bucks' season

Reggie Miller wasn't ready for it to end. Faced with the prospect of his top-seeded Pacers being dismantled with a loss, Miller poured in 41 points from all over to end the pesky Bucks' season with a 96-95 loss Thursday. Indiana will meet the 76ers in Round 2.
