| Let's give out three. The on-the-field ball would go to Georgia receiver Terrence Edwards. He not only caught eight passes for 79 yards, but ran the ball five times for 97 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown run. The off-the-field game balls go to Georgia coach Jim Donnan, who was coaching the Bulldogs despite being fired after the regular season, and Virginia coach George Welsh, who retired after the game. He posted a 134-86-3 record at Virginia.

He might not have a job, but Jim Donnan has a Oahu Bowl victory.
Jim Donnan gets to leave Georgia with a smile after all. After being fired with what ends up a 40-19 career record, Donnan led his 24th-ranked Bulldogs to a 37-14 victory over Virginia on Sunday in the Oahu Bowl. The Bulldogs campaigned to have Donnan coach them in the Honolulu bowl game, then Terrence Edwards, with 97 rushing yards and 79 receiving yards, helped the players keep their campaign promise of performing well.
