SEC title game injury requires surgery
Associated Press

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida linebacker Eugene McCaslin underwent surgery on his left knee Thursday to repair a torn medial collateral ligament.

McCaslin, a senior from Tampa, injured the knee last Saturday in the SEC Championship game. Team doctors said it should take four to six months to rehabilitate.

McCaslin moved from running back to linebacker prior to spring practice in March. He ranked fifth on the team this season with 60 tackles and second with 5.5 sacks.
