Curtis Martin even trampled his own teammates in his 124-yard performance. |
What he did with the Giants and Patriots was impressive, but Bill Parcells' best renovation work clearly has been done with the Jets. Two years removed from a 1-15 season, Parcells' Jets are now one win away from their first Super Bowl appearance in 30 years after a 34-24 victory over the Jaguars. And New York's first playoff victory in 12 years came in typical Parcells fashion. Curtis Martin carried 36 times for 124 yards and two TDs, Keyshawn Johnson added two scores in a brilliant all-around performance, and the Jets defense withstood a late Jacksonville rally. The Jets will face the Broncos in the conference finals, where Parcells is 3-0 in his career.
