Bure conquers for the World

Pavel Bure
Pavel Bure stole the show Sunday in Toronto.
Just like it must have been at the local rink in Moscow a few years back, the brothers Bure dominated a game ... together. Pavel showed he could be the game's next great star by scoring a hat trick and earning MVP honors as the World team romped 9-4 over the North American squad Sunday. He played on a line with kid brother Valeri, who assisted on his brother's first two goals. In the Corners has the day's news and notes, including the details on how Wayne Gretzky symbolically passed the proverbial torch to the NHL's young stars.
