RECAP
DENVER (AP) _ Midfielder Joey DiGiamarino scored his first goal of the season as the injury-plagued Colorado Rapids beat the Tampa Bay Mutiny 1-0 on Saturday night in Major League Soccer. DiGiamarino scored in the 73rd minute off assists from midfielder Jason Moore and Anders Limpar. Limpar lofted the ball to Digimarino, whose shot got past Mutiny goalkeeper Scott Garlick. Rapids goalkeeper David Kramer stopped five shots for his 10th career regular-season shutout. DiGiamarino played just 34 minutes in the Rapids' first three games because of a variety of injuries. Starters Ross Paule and Scott Vermillion missed Saturday's game. The teams, both 2-2-0, will meet again next Saturday in Tampa.
