| Advantage Agassi in Open final
It wasn't supposed to be like this -- Andre Agassi allegedly had the U.S. Open title sewn up when Pete Sampras and Patrick Rafter pulled out. But Todd Martin made the all-American final interesting before Agassi dominated the fifth set to pull off a 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-7 (2-7), 6-3, 6-2 win. It was Agassi's second Grand Slam title of the year.

Serena adds doubles crown
After beating Martina Hingis 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) to win the singles final Saturday, Serena Williams added another title Sunday, beating Chanda Rubin and Sandrine Testud with her sister Venus for the doubles title.
