WASHINGTON (AP) -- Chamique Holdsclaw had a career-high 30 points,
nine rebounds and eight steals Thursday as the Washington Mystics
rallied to beat the Indiana Fever 85-74.

Washington closed the game with a 15-2 run to get the victory
before an announced sellout attendance of 19,093 -- the league's
largest crowd this season.
Holdsclaw shot 12-for-18 from the field and helped the Mystics
defense get a total of 16 steals and force 22 turnovers.
One day after interim coach Darrell Walker told Holdsclaw to get
more involved in the offense, she scored the team's first nine
points. Holdsclaw hit her first four shots and controlled the ball
in the final minutes while the Mystics were rallying.
Washington (10-12) scored 28 points off the turnovers. The
Mystics stepped up their pressure defense in the second half and
appeared to wear down Indiana (5-16). The Fever had just one field
goal in the final 6:18, and went scoreless for the final 3:11.
Nikki McCray had 17 points for the Mystics, including seven
during the game-ending run. Murriel Page added 11, and Vicky
Bullett 10.
Alicia Thompson led Indiana with 18 points, and Danielle
McCulley added 14.
The Fever, who lead the league in 3-point shooting, were just
8-for-23 from behind the arc.
