MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Betty Lennox, a candidate for Rookie of the Year, scored 27 points and had a career-high eight assists on Sunday as the Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever 80-75. Lennox is averaging 16.5 points a game -- best among rookies -- and her eight assists were a season high for the Lynx. Kristin Folkl came off the bench to score 13 points and grab eight rebounds for the Lynx (14-16), who ended a three-game losing steak. They finished 8-8 at home, matching their 1999 home record. The game was played before 8,644 fans -- the largest home crowd this season. Indiana (8-22) never led and trailed 44-36 at the half. The Fever tied the game three times in the second half -- at 64, 66 and 72 with 4:11 remaining. The Lynx pulled away with an 8-3 run. Kara Wolters and Rita Williams scored 16 points apiece to lead the Fever, who lost seven of their last eight road games to finish with 4-12 mark on the road. Stephanie McCarty scored all of her 13 points in the second half.
