The skinny: Straightforward hole, with no hidden pot bunkers. Drive should be between Cheape's bunker and the edge of the rough on the right, which has thick gorse. Depending on the pin placement, steep undulations on the green could make for an awkward shot.
Ian Baker-Finch says: This is an intimidating tee shot, with gorse and rough up the right side and a deep bunker on the left side about 250 yards from the tee. Players will hit short irons to the green, and they must be up. Club selection is premium, because if you leave it short, you're left with an impossible chip. There are lots of nasty kicks on the green, which is full of humps, bumps and ridges.
