MILWAUKEE (AP)_ Jamey Wright pitched seven scoreless innings and Ron Belliard hit a two-run triple, lifting the Milwaukee Brewers over the Colorado Rockies 5-0 Friday night.

Colorado, after climbing back into the NL West race, has tumbled right out, losing 19 of 23 overall and 10 straight on the road.

Wright (6-4) allowed six hits, Ray King pitched the eighth and David Weathers finished the eight-hitter.

Pedro Astacio (8-7), just 2-6 in his last 12 starts, allowed four runs and six hits, striking out nine and walking one.

Before the game, the Brewers traded right-handers Jason Bere, Bob Wickman and Steve Woodard to Cleveland for first-baseman Richie Sexson, right-handers Paul Rigdon and Kane Davis and a player to be named.

Belliard's triple capped a three-run second inning as Milwaukee took a 3-0 lead. Jeromy Burnitz drew a leadoff walk and Tyler Houston followed with a single. Jose Hernandez singled home Burnitz, and Belliard followed with a triple into the right-field corner.

Burnitz, who went 2-for-3, made it 4-0 in the third with his 21st homer, a two-out solo shot. He added an RBI single in the eighth.

Colorado had runners on first and third with no outs in the third, but Wright escaped when left fielder Geoff Jenkins threw out Brent Mayne at home on Tom Goodwin's fly deep into foul territory for a double play and Neifi Perez grounded out.

Colorado had runners on first and third with one out in the sixth, but Wright retired Jeffrey Hammonds and Todd Helton on groundouts.

Notes: Jenkins, who left in the eighth after being hit in the elbow by reliever Mike Myers, recorded his 10th assist when he threw out Mayne at home. Jenkins is day to day. ... Wright won for just the second time in seven starts since June 24. ... Just one of Milwaukee's seven shutouts was a complete game.
