WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) _ Antonio Daniels led five San Antonio players in double figures with 12 points as the Spurs beat the Boston Celtics 100-80 in a preseason game Thursday night at the Worcester Centrum. The Spurs (1-1) led almost all the way, shooting 83 percent in the first quarter. San Antonio's Tim Duncan and David Robinson dominated the Celtics inside, and the Spurs outrebounded Boston 50-35. Antoine Walker had 22 points for Boston (0-2). Rookie Jerome Moiso, playing in his first game, had nine points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots for the Celtics. Spurs rookie Chris Carrawell scored eight points in the first quarter as the Spurs took a 29-18 lead. San Antonio used a 13-4 surge to open up a 36-20 lead midway through the second quarter, before Boston made its only real threat. Walker and free-agent signee Rodney Elliott scored five points each as the Celtics pulled within 44-39 with 2:45 left before halftime. But Robinson and Duncan combined for 10 points as the Spurs built the lead to 53-43 at the half. Shawnelle Scott led San Antonio with 10 rebounds. Steve Kerr's 3-pointer expanded San Antonio's lead to 68-49 with 5:07 remaining in the third quarter. Moiso keyed a mild rally as Boston cut the lead to 72-58 with 1:36 left in the third quarter, but the Spurs closed the period with a 6-2 run for a 78-60 lead.
