(AP) _ Richard Hamilton scored 19 points, including four free throws in the final 14 seconds, leading the Washington Wizards to a 90-87 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in a preseason game Thursday night. The second-year guard from Connecticut connected on 5 of 10 field goals and 9 of 10 free throws as the Wizards erased a five-point deficit in the final four minutes. Felipe Lopez added 12 points for the Wizards, while Juwan Howard had a game-high 12 rebounds. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 19 points, while Shaquille O'Neal added 12 points and six rebounds. O'Neal and several other Lakers starters did not play in the fourth quarter. The Lakers, who held an 11-point lead in the second quarter, led 46-42 at the half behind Bryant's 11 points. The Wizards tied the game 68-68 at the end of the third, erasing a seven-point deficit late in the quarter. The Lakers rebuilt the lead to 82-77 with 3:58 left to play. But a three-point play by Lopez with 2:50 left and a 3-point basket, also by Lopez, with 1:38 left put the Wizards up 85-82. Washington went 5-for-6 from the line in the final 24 seconds.
