ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Randy Robitaille scored an unassisted goal with 8.6 seconds remaining to give the Nashville Predators a 2-2 preseason tie with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. With the Blues already shorthanded due to Reid Simpson's high-sticking penalty, Nashville coach Barry Trotz pulled goalie Jan Lasak to give his team a 6-on-4 advantage. It paid off when Robitaille beat Blues goalie Brent Johnson with a wrist shot from the right circle. Robitaille also set up Vitali Yachmenev's power-play goal with 9:45 remaining in regulation, which cut the Blues' lead to 2-1. Scott Young and Jamal Mayers scored power-play goals for St. Louis. Young helped set up the first goal 15:50 into the game when he centered the puck as Darren Rumble moved in from the point. Rumble's shot was blocked in front, but Young put the rebound past Nashville goalie Mike Dunham. Mayers gave St. Louis a two-goal advantage when he scored off a scramble in front at 4:38 of the third period.
