Mighty Ducks of Anaheim
|
First Round Picks: No. 12
1999-2000 Record: 34-36-12 (3), 83 points (Tied for 18th overall)
What they need
The usual- more offensive support to take the load off of the "Big Two", Paul Kariya and Teemu
Selanne- and the not-so-usual- goaltending depth behind 33-year old Guy Hebert. Some more physical players would
also be of help to Anaheim.

When it comes to their first round draft selections, the Ducks have leaned toward Europe. Of their six opening round picks all-time, four have been European-born, although defenseman Ruslan Salei (9th overall in ?96), a native of Belarus, was playing in the IHL at the time of his selection.
