Practice Makes U.S. Nearly Perfect

U.S. archery coach Lloyd Brown obviously knew something his team didn't -- always be prepared for tension-filled competition. After making the team practice one-arrow shootoffs, it was ready Friday. Led by Vic Wunderle, the Americans edged Russia in an overtime shootoff to win the bronze in the team competition. Both teams were tied 239 through nine rounds.
