U.S. Boxers Go 0-for-Sydney

Ricardo Williams and the U.S. struggled.
For the first time since 1948 -- that's some 52 years -- the United States did not win a gold medal in boxing. Ricardo Williams and Rocky Juarez each lost gold-medal bouts Sunday, and both were controversial defeats, as well. The U.S. disputed both bouts, one over bad scoring and the other over an opponent holding too much. The Americans, though, don't expect much to be done about either bout. That means the United States takes home from Sydney only two silver medals and two bronze medals.

• Cuba's Savon takes third gold medal
• Williams wins one of the best bouts
• Americans' smallest boxer eliminated
• Americans get four into semifinals
• Bribe offer? Officials will double it
• Complete results from Sydney
