BOSTON (AP) _ Ray Allen scored 15 points and Glenn Robinson added 14 as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Boston Celtics 116-80 Wednesday night in the preseason opener for both teams. Eric Williams led the Celtics with 19 points, while Mark Blount added 10. But the Celtics turned the ball over 26 times and shot only 22-for-72 from the field. Antoine Walker, who along with Paul Pierce were chosen Boston co-captains prior to the game, was held to eight points. Pierce, stabbed last month in an off-the-court incident, watched the game in street clothes from Boston's bench. Milwaukee had six players in double figures including Sam Cassell and Michael Redd with 12 apiece. Tim Thomas, who strained his right groin in the second quarter, and rookie Joel Przybilla each scored 10. Cassell led the Bucks with seven assists. The Bucks, behind 3-pointers from Mark Pope and Robinson, went on an 8-2 run in the last 2:01 of the third quarter to take an 84-61 lead. Michael Redd's 3-pointer 17 seconds into the fourth quarter triggered a 7-0 Milwaukee run. The Bucks took a 91-61 lead on Lindsey Hunter's jumper with 8:57 left in the game.
