PEORIA, Ill. (AP) _ Elton Brand scored 29 points to lead the Chicago Bulls back from an 11-point deficit to a 107-104 victory Saturday night over Denver in a preseason game. Ron Artest, a second-year player like Brand, scored 15 points for the Bulls. Denver was led by Antonio McDyess and Raef LaFrentz, who each scored 17 points. The game, played before 10,282 at Carver Arena, was a homecoming for former Peoria High School star A.J. Guyton, the Big Ten's Player of the Year last season for Indiana and the Bulls' second-round pick (32nd overall) in the 2000 draft. Guyton was told by head coach Tim Floyd at game time that he would start, and he contributed eight points and three assists.
